| Weddings & Special Occasions Thank you for your interest in hosting a wedding or wedding reception at the Batcheller Mansion Inn. The Batcheller Mansion offers an architecturally renowned historic home for your wedding or catered event in conjunction with your wedding day. The Mansion offers nine guest rooms all with private baths as well as a luxurious suite of Common Rooms on our main floor including our elegant living room, formal dining room and club-like library. Our guest rooms fall into three categories: standard, superior and deluxe. You may book our guest rooms individually for yourself; your family or your overnight guests or you may book the entire house and enjoy the exclusive use of our Common Rooms as well as having all our guest rooms to assign as you choose. Our Common Rooms as well as our guest rooms, with their seasonally adjusted rates, may be viewed at our website or discussed by calling the Innkeeper. Any overnight guests must vacate their rooms by noon on the day of departure so that guest rooms can be prepared for arriving guests. There is a ten percent discount offered off the seasonal room rates between November and March when all the guest rooms in the Mansion are booked. There is a two night minimum for weekends between April and October and we do not host events or functions during the annual Saratoga Racing Season. In order to use our Common Rooms to hold a wedding function, be it day or evening, all of our guest rooms must be reserved for your use. For a daytime function, any event between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm there is a facility fee of $250.00; for an evening function, anything between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm, there is a facility fee of $500.00. Morning events such as wedding breakfasts or bunches, which must follow the night of guest room occupancy, may begin no earlier than 8:00 am and must conclude by 3:00 pm with all catering breakdown and clean-up completed by 4:00 pm. All evening events must conclude by 10:00 pm and all catering breakdown and clean-up must be completed by 10:30 pm. All food and beverage service for a function or event is done exclusively by our catering partner Black Diamond Caterers: no outside food or beverage may be brought into the house to be served in our Common Rooms except by Black Diamond Caterers. All catering arrangements are done directly with Black Diamond and their contact information is at the bottom of this page. Once you have confirmed availability of the Mansion with us for your date Black Diamond will then coordinate with us about facility use and event specifics. Our capacities for functions are as follows: Sit down meals in the Dining room: up to 24 people. Seated dinners inside the house are limited to 24 people (four rounds of six), stand-up buffet dinners are limited to 46, and cocktail receptions are limited to 70 people inside the house. Actual weddings can be held in the Living Room or in our gardens: details can be obtained through Black Diamond Caterers. You may also use our lawn, season permitting, where Black Diamond can arrange for the placement of a tent and outside convenience facilities: maximum service in a tent in the backyard is currently limited to 96 people. Parking is on street as the Mansion’s parking is reserved for our overnight guests.
